The Gisborne Singers are busy rehearsing for their mid- year concert at Holy Cross Primary School, New Gisborne on Sat 28th July.
This will be a variety type/cabaret style concert with choral, duet and solo items carefully selected to appeal to a wide audience and will be a serious break from their traditional classical choral work. Proceedings will commence with an art and craft exhibition from people in the Macedon Ranges.
Patrons will be seated at round tables and bring their own food and refreshments.
The programme is diverse and includes medleys of Les Miserables and Beatles as well as a beautiful range of classical favourites of Byrd, Bach, Haydn, Rutter and Schubert, and including some wonderful foreign songs.
The show will include an oboe solo, Banjo Patterson recitation, Flanders and Swan skit, a piano duet and much more.
