Rossini is best known for his opera such as the famous Barber of Seville, but late in life he composed many other works including this  “Little Solemn Mass.” Later  generations have recognised it as a fine piece, full of attractive melody. Certainly the choir have taken to it with  gusto and are enjoying it immensely.

Care residents—under 12 free.
