We look forward to welcoming you to our first concert for 2017 which will be "A German Requiem" by Johannes Brahms. This sumptuous work is scored for chorus (we will sing the English version), soprano, baritone and orchestra. It was composed between 1865 and 1868 making it a relatively early work in Brahms' catalogue and may have been inspired by the death of Brahm's mother.
